"Les Lyonnais blends in perfectly with its surroundings, in the heart of the old town, or Vieux Lyon. On the restaurant walls hang photos of celebrities, artists and faithful customers, all of whom are regulars at this Lyon bouchon. The basement boasts a huge vaulted cellar that can accommodate groups for events of all kinds, including exhibitions, concerts and café-théâtre evenings. Owner Anne Toiron often used to come here with her family, and grew to like it so much that she decided to buy it, with the aim of preserving her interpretation of some of the city’s history and tradition. In this friendly, welcoming atmosphere, with ‘no frills’, to quote the owner’s daughter, Laura Grand, there are all sorts of typical dishes to try.
